Easy Ways to Take a Screenshot or Snippet Using a Computer or Smartphone:
A) For Windows computers:
- From the start menu search for Snipping Tool and open it.
- Click on New.
- Using the + draw the area you would like to snip. Or from the Mode drop-down arrow select the snip type: Free-Form, Rectangular, Window, or Full Screen.
- You can annotate the snip by using the pen or highlighter. There is even an eraser in case you need to make a change.
- From the menu you can choose to save the snip, copy it, or email it.

B) For Macs (Apple computers):
To snip a section of the screen
- Simultaneously type Command, Shift, 4.
- When the cursor changes to a cross +, drag a box around the section you want to copy and release the mouse.
- The screenshot is automatically saved to the desktop.
- Simultaneously type Command, Shift, 3.
- This will save an image of the entire screen.
- The screenshot is automatically saved to the desktop.
